Sharpening sometimes can be one of those overlooked things in our post production flow. It’s one of those things that really can give our work that final polish and additional pop that it needs and I think sometimes can just be a little misunderstood. Im working on a few articles on sharpening so check back for those soon, but in the meantime wanted to share this good video which overs some background on sharpening, how the sliders work, and tips for sharpening images in Lightroom.

What’s the benefit of sharpening in the Details panel of lightroom and again through the export window?
What sharpening in the export window does actually: is it an amount and/ or radius and/ or detail and/ or masking tweak?
You know when I print my photos, I always apply the extra sharpening for mat or glossy printing.
Sometimes it works just great (although might look overdone on screen) and sometimes it looks overdone on screen and overdone on print! Can’t a find the trick
