Adobe went all into the cloud awhile back with the creative cloud and sparked a lot of controversy between photographers. If you still aren’t totally up to speed on the creative cloud check out this article we posted awhile back “What you need to know abou the Creative Cloud”
With the move to the cloud the cost can be somewhat prohibitive for people that just use PHotoshop. For myself I use other Adobe apps like Illustrator and the full membership makes sense to me.
Adobe announced yesterday a new limited time program for Photographers. It gives you limited access to the creative cloud for a great price. For $9.99 per month (only if you owned a previous copy of Photoshop) you can get access to a special version of Creative Cloud that includes Photoshop CC (plus Adobe Bridge) and Lightroom 5. On top of that you also have access to a Behance membership and 20GB of online storage.
This is a limited time offer that is valid only until December 31, 2013. Adobe has stated that this price isn’t a introductory price and if you do subscribe to this price you will continue to pay the $9.99 after December 31, 2013. It does require a 1 year commitment.
