The past few years I have covered a lot of Lightroom how to articles and shooting tips like how to use off camera lighting. But another program that I use pretty heavily but have only written about every once in awhile is Photoshop. I’ve received some great feedback from everyone recently and many people are looking for some good Photoshop tutorials and tips and am working on getting some Photoshop articles up on the site shortly. In the meantime I came across this helpful video from Juliane Kost that went over some changes to the way that custom shapes are handled in Photoshop CS6. If you don’t use custom shapes in Photoshop these can be very helpful when designing albums or cards for your clients. I use them all the time to help add some small design touches and embellishments to my layouts. Check out the video to learn more about using custom shapes in Photoshop and what changed in CS6.
