It’s a new month and we have another fun photo contest starting today. This month’s contest we are going to focus on negative space images. If you missed our post with some great examples last week you can check it out here: Negative Space examples in Photography. Using negative space can be such a great way to create impact with our work and I am looking forward to some of the creative examples you all have.
You can enter until Friday August 19th and end at 12:00 midnight PST. There will be one main winner which will be voted on by the team here at Digital Photo Buzz and we will also open up voting for everyone with some runner up awards. The voting will begin on August 20th and last until Friday August 26th. The main winner will get a $100 from Black River Imaging, one of our great sponsors.
To enter just upload your image below where it says “Add Photo” (max size 900×600). Make sure to enter your website address or name in the Caption so we know who you are! Also only one entry per person. NOTE: Once you click submit the image does need to be approved and may take a few hours, just click the submit button once we will get your entry online soon.

Hi, I submit an image, then realised the size wasn’t the requested 600*900, so I scaled the image and re-uploaded. Is that okay? I know it’s only one submission per person so can the incorrect sized image be taken down/not included in the contest? Thank you very much 🙂
Thanks for the chance to win. It’s a new subject for me. Also, if we are only allowed 1 photo each, you might want to remove the doubles of some photos. Some people have also entered more than one photo.

Hi there, like Ellen I uploaded a photo eariler and then relized that the size of my image was not the requiered 600*900. If you wouldent mind removing the one with the incorrect sizeing from the contest and letting me put up another image with the correct sizing I would verry much appreciate it.

I accidently uploaded the same pic twice. Can i have one without my name deleted and maybe have those votes added to the one with my name? I was tryin to upload from my phone first and it didnt seem to work so i did it from home and it showed up both later. 🙁 i am sorry.
Can I ask why is the voting still on? It said It will stop voting on the 26th?
