Lighting is one thing that many photographers struggle with and with portraits good lighting is key to an amazing portrait. Gina Milicia has written a few solid portrait books for Digital Photography School, I read her first book Portraits: Making the Shot when it was released awhile back and it was a very well written and easy to understand book on creating portraits. She is an Australian Photographer who has flown around the world to photograph many famous people including royalty and heads of state, billionaires and a-list celebrities. She has been a professional photographer for 25 years and shooting on location in some of the world’s most exotic places.
I know as a location based photographer how key portable lighting is and if you are new to photo lighting or want to take your lighting to the next level this is a good book to pick up. She covers a lot of info in this 130 page ebook and here is the table of contents:
