Adobe is looking to release the next version of Lightroom (version 6) soon from what I have heard. The updated application will ship in March 2015 and Adobe will release a beta version coming this September. Version 6 supposedly will feature more performance upgrades and UI updates rather than a slew of new features based on the rumors. Looks like we will know for sure whats coming in the very near term future.
