creativecloud_new_logoAt the Adobe MAX conference today most people thought that Adobe would give a glimpse into the CS7 suite of products. Instead Adobe has given a look into what they believe the future is and they are putting everything into the cloud. Awhile back Adobe released the Creative Cloud (What you need to know about Creative Cloud) as a way to have a subscription service to access all of their apps. I’ve subscribed to this since the start and have to admit it’s a really nice way to have just the software you need and pay on a monthly basis vs. a large upfront step to buy a boxed product and then go through a upgrade/install process.

Now with the next version of Creative Suite Adobe will only be offering this through the cloud. They will continue to sell CS6 now, but this will be discontinued in the future. The New Creative Cloud apps will be available June 17. At this time they will release all new apps to be downloaded through the creative cloud. I’ll have more info on the new Photoshop CC coming soon so make sure to subscribe to our site on the top right and get our articles sent to your email on a daily basis.
