Facial recognition is one of the new updates in Lightroom CC/6. It’s a feature that i’ve used with Apple’s photo app for my quick iPhone snaps and is very useful in that context. With Lightroom however I normally start a new catalog file every year and have it organized by shoots that are normally 1 time events like a wedding. So being able to view the photos of a specific bride by facial recognition won’t really be helpful in most of my cases. But if you are using Lightroom in a more general way and have photos of people at different locations and over time this can be pretty handy! Check out the video below for more info.
