With more and more of us using tablets for our professional work today it would make sense that Adobe continues to try and create products geared towards helping us get our work done from mobile devices. Being someone that uses Lightroom a lot and the slowness you can have when editing RAW files on even a decent computer i’m not too sure how this could translate into a tablet app that you could use with speed to process hundreds of files. But being a tech and gadget lover also i’m excited to see what they have in the works for the future.

Adobe shared a little glimpse into what they are working on during the latest episode of The Grid. Here you can see the Lightroom chief Tom Hogarty showing off an early build of the app on his iPad. The app is using Smart Previews to show users the changes that they’re making, check it out for yourself in the video below and let me know what you think. You can see the section for Lightroom below starting at the 19 minute mark.
