With the move the the creative cloud Adobe has stated they can innovate fast and push out updates quickly to users. This update fixes or enhances a lot of little things and add’s a pretty cool new feature that will appeal more to the designers out there. Here is a quick look at what’s new with Adobe Photoshop CC 14.1:
– This is a brand new feature that is pretty awesome. Adobe Generator will allow you to create image assets in real time by simply looking at the name of a layer. All you have to do is add a file extension to the name of the layer and Photoshop will automatically create a JPG, PNG or GIF! Then if you edit the layer at all the file it created will automatically adjust so you will always have an up to date image! You can also add tags to create the images at certain sizes!
To turn this on go to File -> Generate -> Image Assets. Now all you have to do is rename the layers or layer groups you want to export. It’s pretty slick and can be a huge time saver for some of you!
