As many of you know I believe that the social aspect of the web can play a huge part in your photography business and driving traffic to your studio. There are so many things you can do with Facebook to help market your business and the great thing is that it’s constantly changing. Facebook is really still a baby in their business and are always creating new features and ways we can interact with our clients.
Today I am happy to announce a simple new way to comment on our posts. At the bottom of the page you will now see a facebook comment field. If you are logged into facebook you will see your profile photo automatically pull up, just type in your comment and it will be posted to the page. You can also “like” comments or reply to specific comments to start a threaded conversation. The goal of Digital Photo Buzz is not only to share great tips and photography inspiration but also to have a great community where we can ask questions and chat about our passion for photography. I think this will be a great way for all of the facebook users out there to easily start a conversation.
Also if you are interested in how to add a facebook comment section to your photography blog, let us know and leave a comment below. If there is an interest i’ll create a tutorial on how to set this up with your own site.
Also we will keep open the old comments box for just a little while as everyone gets used to the transition.
