After much anticipation and rumors, Adobe has finally announced Lightroom 6 (Lightroom CC as part of the creative cloud and the stand alone desktop version will be referred to as Lightroom 6). Lightroom 6 comes with some great new features for photographers. Lightroom CC will be a part of the Creative Cloud Photography plan or the Creative Cloud complete plan.
