It’s just a rumor but every camera model does have to die sometime right? It was reported earlier by Canonrumors.com that the Canon 5D mark II is going to be officially discontinued. The 5d mark II really was a game changer especially with shooting digital video with a SDR. It’s only a rumor but sounds like it could be time, they are basing this on a page found on Canons site showing it listed as an old product, check it out here: Canon 5D mark II discontinued?
You can still get the camera online and it is actually at an AMAZING price on Amazon right now at $1500. Even though I love the Mark III this price is a steal for a very solid camera.
