With the new year always comes new resolutions and I think as artists we should always set some goals for ourself. There can be many types of goals a photographer wants to set, you might have goals on your business and marketing, or goals on a new way you want to learn how to shoot or even a new photo project. Having something to strive for in the new year is always helpful and helps us keep advancing our art forward.
So what were your photo resolutions this year and how have you been doing almost halfway into January? Share a comment below and lets all encourage each other to stay on task.
For me I have a simple goal this year. Only one goal to keep things easy and something that is more important really than learning a new software or new type of processing. My goal is something I failed miserably at last year, taking weekly photos of my kids. Kids grow up so fast and with each and every week there are new expressions, new looks and sometimes it feels like a whole new kid. I want to be able to document this time in their lives and capture these everyday moments that define this time.
Would love to know what you are all working towards this year, just leave a comment below and lets chat!
